Customers praised these Scottish pastries as "divine puffs of deliciousness" with a crispy exterior and soft interior. Most loved them heated with butter and jam, comparing them to croissants. However, some noted inconsistencies—a few found them thicker than traditional butteries, less salty, or with stale dough.

omg
Not exactly as I remember them but tasty nonetheless the less
These were terrible a total waste of money. Dough seemed really old
Delicious! I'd never had them before. They're like a croissant, only in a round shape. Really good warmed or toasted with butter & jam.
They were very thick, more like rolls. Butteries are typically pretty flat and more salty.
I’m a repeat enthusiast lol. I’m learning to make these…but until I perfect them I’ll keep ordering these divine puffs of deliciousness.
the 3 pack of Aberdeen butteries were just amazing. I heated one according to the directions and it was delicious, soft inside and with a nice crunch to the outside .I added butter and marmalade to taste and ate the entire biscuit ! Yum.
Really fantastic, after five months of no carbs, I ate one a day for three days! Yummy!
These are delicious! Like a croissant and a biscuit had a baby.
Love these rolls, will again. Definitely delicious, added more butter.
This is one of my all-time favorite foods. It's amazing how good they taste even though they are made with such simple ingredients. When heated as directed, they are so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Thank you to Aberdeen for one of the best breads in the world!!
Fresh and tasty. The whole family loved them.
Really enjoyed these Butteries! After heating them up in the oven. The wife and I spread butter and jam on them. Delicious 😋. Will definitely purchase these again.
I tried making these and they were like lead. I lived in Aberdeen when I went to uni and missed them. These are delicious and we have them along with the back bacon and potato scones for Chrstimas breakfast.
We first had butteries when we were on the Isle of Harris last September, and were wowed. We never thought we'd be able to find them in the US, but thanks to Scottish Gourmet, we can now enjoy them at home--and enjoy them we do!! We plan to always keep a good supply in the freezer. They are truly something else--crispy on the outside, soft and yeasty on the inside--delicious served hot from the oven with a little butter and some marmalade. I hope Scottish Gourmet will continue to carry this outstanding product!!
