Refund policy

We have a SATISIFACTION GUARANTEED POLICY. We make every effort to ensure the products we ship to you are the finest available. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we will gladly replace or offer a refund upon the return of the product. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a refund, replacement or return. 

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days. 
  • There is no restocking fee.
  • We do not offer free return shipping unless we made an error on the order or the product is defective.
  • SALE products sold with short Best Before Dates are not returnable.
  • Perishable products are not returnable. Call us to resolve any issues.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can make it right.

If your package is clearly damaged in transit, please take a photo to assist us in making our claim with UPS. Send your photo to help@scottishgourmetusa.com. Please tell us the condition of the box contents as well. We will respond within one business day to replace or refund shipments damaged in transit.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Perishable items cannot be returned, such as meats, cheese or fish. We ship with ice packs in a thermal cooler or pouch to protect perishables. It is normal that ice packs will thaw in transit and that items may be not fully frozen upon arrival. Please refrigerate perishables upon arrival - or freeze if for a future date (more than a few days). All our perishable products can be refrozen with the exception of cheese and clotted cream.

If you are dissatisfied with a perishable product upon receipt, please contact us and we will refund the perishable item. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Call us at 877-814-3663 or send an email to help@scottishgourmetusa.com.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on SALE food items with short Best Before Dates.

Exchanges

Refunds
We process refunds every week. If more than 15 business days have passed since we told you a refund would be issued, please contact us at help@scottishgourmetusa.com. It may take your bank or credit card company a few days to post the refund to your account.

Order Cancellation

If you need to cancel or change your order, please contact us immediately by phone or email. We ship orders very quickly during the workweek, so we need to know about your change or cancellation promptly. If you do cancel your unshipped order, your refund will be issued within one business week.
