Since the Clarke family founded this dairy in 1995, they have won awards for their Clava (the soft-ripened brie), the smoked dunlop and the classic dunlop. Aweful.

Not even close to being traditional Dunlop.

It was not sharp at all … more like a creamier, tasteless “cheese”.

I'm a Dunlop, and tried this cheese while visiting Dunlop in Scotland this past summer. I was so happy to find this cheese available from Scottish Gourmet. It's delicious! Thank you!

I discovered this cheese at the Dairy show Olympia London when I was kid. It was my favorite cheese! It was more widely available in London in the 70s but gradually became less common the only place I could get it was the food hall at Harrods and then they discontinued it. I would routinely search for it but ultimately gave up. I left the UK and now live in Philly. THEN I found it on Scottish Gourmet they didn't have any in stock but put my name on the waiting list when it was available I bought 4. It was so tasty and had no aftertaste that you sometime get with a cheddar. My wife also enjoyed it and I shared a block with two of my friend who also said this is the best cheese! Yummy!

This cheese was heaven in my mouth! It was this wonderful melt in your mouth with a hint of salt. The taste is these best I've ever hard for a cheddar!
