I bought the two-pound haggis for Burns night. We had neeps and tatties and lamb rack in case some folks didn't want Haggis. Everyone tried it and everyone liked it! It was easy to heat and a hit of the dinner.
This was a massive hit with my Americans friends at a Burns night I threw this year. Very spicy and peppery and great texture. Absolutely loved it. A lot of haggis I’ve had in the States has been quite bland, this was like the haggis I’d get in a butcher shop back in Dundee (sans the lungs obviously). It wasn’t large enough based on the websites suggested serving size (but my friends are all Highland Games athletes so….)
In years past, we had not been able to make or purchase a presentation haggis (Canned haggis is ok, but just not the close to the real thing!). This was a delightful addition to our Burns Night Supper. Everything we could hope for!
Excellent and easy to prepare! My guests all loved the taste and texture. It's the best Haggis I've had outside of Scotland! It also looked great as I piped it in around our living room to the dining table, so all could see it! A great choice for our Burns Supper!

The shape and casing made it easy to put the haggis on showcase and make a toast as we cut it open to serve.
The haggis had a surprisingly good flavor and spice blend. It was thoroughly enjoyed by our guests. I even got asked if they could take home the leftovers!
I ordered this haggis for our first ever Burns Night Supper. It was really tasty! All of our guests liked it, after some hesitation. My experience with ordering was wonderful--John helped me a refund after I inadvertently selected the wrong shipping method. The haggis arrived frozen, the instructions on reheating it were great. Everyone had a wonderful evening and wants to do a repeat next year. I will definitely be ordering from the Scottish Gourmet!

This is my first time ordering haggis. I was lucky enough to visit Scotland last year, and had haggis, neeps and tatties there. BEST MEAL EVER!! I cannot wait to have this!! I’m hoping it isnt too spicy, as some of the haggis I had in Scotland had a little kick to it!

Fast shipping and well packaged. Was hoping to experience the flavors had when i was in Scotland recently but this was not case. The flavor while okay was very different and not as robust or savory.
Nicely presented and quite flavorful. Next time, I would like to try the Royal Haggis with venison.

Can't really comment yet because I'm saving the Haggis along with the Haggis Cocktail Puffs and Selkirk Bannock for my church's Kirkin of Tartan worship services where I'm preaching. If it's as good as last years, I will be pleased and I'm sure it will be.
We had a very nice dinner with the haggis plus nips and tatties. The haggis was very good, but my Scottish-born son thought a bit more taste of pepper would be an improvement.
It's an ok haggis but not great.. rather bland and somewhat dry.
This Presentation Haggis was front and centre at our Burns Night celebration. the flavour was good although the haggis was a little dry. It definitely helped to add a little single malt along with the neeps and tatties.
We buy haggis frequently from ScottishGourmet.com for Burns night. This year it was not as good as usual. It was very hard and did not "gush" when it was opened up. It was very dry and we were very disappointed, especially since we had bought two 2-lb haggis this time. This is the first time in my life I haven't been excited about having leftovers to eat the next day. Hope this is just a one-off issue....

I am not really happy. I ordered same product every year but this time instead of sending a big two pound puece i got to small ones. I used this to present it during the ceremony.
Despite bad weather our haggis arrived in perfect time to celebrate Burns Night. It was delicious and fulfilled all my nostalgic desire to be back in the country where I was born. My whole party enjoyed it!

Our 2 lb. haggis arrived quickly and was the perfect size for our small Burns Night celebration (7 adults). Even the picky eaters tried it and were surprised to find that it was tasty. I made the onion whisky sauce from the recipe that came with the haggis and it was also a big hit.
There were haggis sceptics at my small Burns dinner here in California, and my only personal haggis experience was when we prepared it over a campfire with my Boy Scout patrol in 1960 at Lochearnhead (171st Glasgow troop). I'm happy to report that the haggis arrived in good condition, and that the sceptics are now converts. I did find that it took longer to reheat than the insructions suggested.
