Customers love these authentic lamb pies, calling them "delicious" and "just like I remember" from Scotland. The flaky crust and tasty filling evoke nostalgic memories. Easy to prepare in the oven. Some note the filling could be more generous or spiced. A few mention concerns about customer service and high shipping costs.

5☆ these are great. I get 8 with every order, always very good!
Mutton on the button
This company is not into customer service!
My fault I did not check an auto fill that put in my old address as the delivery address. Noticed it immediately. Tried multiple times to get this changed - no luck. Cost me the full price of the order. I did not want to cancel it. I felt responsible and I did not want to impact a small company. However - I will never shop with them again! Beware!
Our apologies if we failed to catch your address change in time. We'd be happy to send you a replacement so you can try the items that you ordered. We understand the ways this can happen with the high levels of automation these days. Let us know if you would prefer a refund instead. Just send your preference to orders@scottishgourmetusa.com.
I have only ever had English pork pies before, but I love lamb. These were just lovely, I enjoyed them thoroughly! I am ordering more!
My friend was so delighted! I bought this because he and his family used to purchase meat pies in Paterson NJ and it brought back so many memories for him and his family! He actually called his brother and sister and they had a wee feast over the pies! Now I know to buy MORE! Wonderful!
These pies are to die for…
Haven’t had a real mutton pie in years…
These really fit the bill and reminded me of my childhood in Bonny Scotland…
I like all of your products. It is a nice reminder of Scotland for me.
delicious absolutely loved it
Love these. Just like my father used to buy from the Scottish bakery when I was a child.
OMG!!! I was excited as soon as I opened the box. Once prepared, I closed my eyes as I started to eat & I envisioned myself 65 years ago eating these pies with my Daddy when I was a wee one!!! Thanks for the memories!!!
Loved them. So happy my daughter found them and order them for my birthday. I already ordered two four packs and I will be order them again. Very Happy
Absolutely fantastic! Hardest part is not eating through my entire supply in one sitting! Haha. Flaky crust, delicious filling, super easy to prepare in the oven. Perfect. Thank you for offering such great items (this one and many others)!
Meat Pie - too many ingredients and flavors. Not definitive. Desperately needs gravy.
I do not eat this kind of food. I buy it for my husband who is Welsh. He had the pies already and was very impressed. I have not given him anything else yet to eat from my stack that I purchased from you. I stretch it out so it lasts longer! LOL.
The mutton pie just taste very good. I was expecting it to taste more like lamb.
The Muttonpies were delicious. I enjoyed every bite.
I did not get to taste them. They flew off the plate
Ive tried the haggis pies and the lamb pies both are bland and lacking in spice !! Not sure if theyre toned down for the US market but apart from the crust they’re not really Scottish !!
Liked the fast prompt service and the food, God bless, pray Divine Mercy chaplets for the homeless and everyone else+
These are my favorite. Some mash and peas and your back home!
Tasted just like home back in Scotland!
Very good but a little more meat would be nice
Pretty tasteless dry fill. Would not buy again.
I sent these to my brothers and they both loved them. Memories of our Dad wwhoalways treated us to them
One of the tastiest pies I've ever had. The meat is delectable and they give you plenty of it and the pastry is fluffy. I will definitely reorder!
These lamb pies were great. I recall mutton pies from my youth that were a bit more flavorful with the taste of black pepper, so I added it to replicate the taste. My mother used to serve them with some hot Campbell's Chicken with Rice soup (straight from the can, not diluted). Perhaps not traditional, but yummy.
The photo shows a lot of filling, yet there was not much at all.
Also, the shipping was expensive, but it was a gift for my husband, so I paid it.
Delicious! Just the way I remember. But unfortunately too expensive. Not worth the money.
Great pies , I'm old enough to have grown up with only mutton pies so to have these lamb ones is fantastic. Just like the beef Scotch pies the secret to the enjoyment is the re-heating Follow the instructions and it's simple. Let the pies thaw out completely, oven at 350 and usually 20 minutes is all you need. Do not leave them in too long or the crust will get hard and not too hot an oven. Pies are brilliant!!

The mutton pies were as good as ones we've enjoyed when visiting family in Scotland.
