Another classic Scottish sweet, made with toasted coconut, chocolate and a sweet sugary melt-in-your-mouth center. Think of these Macaroon bars as something like the Scottish grandmother of the Mounds bar. Like Butter Tablet and Scottish Toffee, the sweetness is concentrated and intense. Fans of candy from around the world will want to get acquainted with these Scottish treats.

This was a very popular offering that we haven't been able to get for several years, and customers haven't stopped asking about Macaroon Bars. So we're happy to be able to share them with you.

Customers praised these chocolate coconut macaroon bars as "absolutely perfect" and "delicious," with many enjoying the nostalgic taste. However, several reported freshness issues including hardness, staleness, and discoloration. Some bars arrived crushed or with broken wrappers. When fresh, shoppers found them "mouth watering," though a few noted they were overly sweet.

Love chocolate and coconut

Love chocolate and coconut, but these had gotten very hard. Need to be careful eating them.

i have had great experience before, unforunbatley

I have had great experiences in the past, however, unfortunately, this time was different. The macaron bars I received were crushed, and a couple of them had somehow come loose from their wrappers. As a result, I was unable to use them and had to absorb the cost myself. I’m disappointed with how this order turned out and wanted to bring it to your attention.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. As we have a satisfaction guarantee we would be happy to replace or refund you for the unsatisfactory items. Reach out to us at orders@scottishgourmetusa.com with your service request. Thanks for the review!

Little disappointed in these! I grew up eating them and enjoyed them. They just taste a bit stale.

The icepack was completely melted by the time it reached Texas. I put the macaroons in the refrigerator as they were pretty floppy out of the box. They are delicious though.
