Oh my - these are wonderful shortbread cookies - baked in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, under the scrutiny of Coinneach MacLeod, the Hebridean Baker. Is there anything more Scottish than shortbread made with marmalade? Exclusively offered in the USA by Scottish Gourmet USA, this may become your favorite cookie! Eight round shortbread cookies with plenty of orange zest and marmalade to enhance the rich buttery shortbread. YUM! Each 5.3 oz. box has a wee saying in English and Gaelic, as The Isle of Lewis never stopped speaking Gaelic, even when banned after the battle of Culloden. It was so far away from the dominant English troops, they could continue speaking their native language.

Simply Yummy!

All of the Hebridean Baker cookies are wonderful, crisp and you can't eat just 1. These Marmelade Shortbreads are a family favourite. We recommend buying a box of each flavor and having a wee taste testing!

These were not too sweet which is not my favorite. As well, the dried up strips of orange skin were far too rubbery or hard and added bitterness to the cookie. The texture was funky almost like an oatmeal cookie - not what I expect from shortbread. All in all I can bake better than this.

This orange marmalade shortbread is delicious. I love the pieces of orange zest in it. I would definitely buy it again.
