Mother Mae's Original Recipe Shortbread Mix

Mother Mae is my husband, Andrew's, grandmother. Her secret to perfect shortbread was her vanilla infused sugar and a touch of rice flour. Her picture graces each 14 ounce box of Original Shortbread Mix and each bag will fill two of our Shortbread pans with buttery, mouthwatering shortbread. All you do is add two sticks of unsalted butter and blend, press the mix in the pans and bake. How easy is that?
Of course you can use any pan, a round cake pan to make wedges, or a simple square or rectangular pan to cut traditional fingers, but we love the fancy designs made by our shortbread pans. Made simply with flour, sugar, rice flour and vanilla. Exclusively at Scottish Gourmet USA.

Excellent shortbread mix.

flavor good. however, the whole thing fell apart into crumbles. I did everything right per the instructions; I greased the pan; I baked it at 325 for 29 minutes. But it stuck to the pan and literally fell into crumbles when I got it out of the pan. Can't serve it to anybody.

Have tried many recipes from many different cook books but this mix is the best. Realized I did not have the right size pans so we purchased 2 of the ceramic pans/molds. The mix is easy to make, added a few more minutes to the time and it came out great. The taste is perfect. You won't go wrong with this mix.
