Fast delivery and very good blood pudding! As good, if not better than any I had in Dublin or London.
Excellent taste, and very tender when cooked. Arrived fresh with ice packs, and in good condition. Sautéed it on a griddle, using olive oil, and served it as part of a full English breakfast.
Pudding quality not what the photo shows. Fat and blood content not as good at picture. Also found a fastening from the end of the wrapper inside the pudding.
Absolutely delicious. I have never had black pudding before. Even other family members joined in. I will order again for special occasions.
Be aware that this is NOT the black pudding they used to sell (and what I believe, is pictured). The "black pudding" that is now being sold is simply a re-labeled West of Ireland brand blood pudding. (They didn't even bother to remove the original label).
If you've tasted real black pudding, that West of Ireland brand isn't even close. It's got no texture, and it's tasteless and mushy.
I will definitely not be ordering again.

The pudding was delivered and was completely unfrozen . I did refrigerate immediately as it arrived. Cooked it up the next morning and it was delicious. I was worried alil it may upset the tummy but it didnt 🙂

The black pudding was tasty but, since it was made in the US, it didn’t taste remotely like the puddings we had in the UK.

Im Scottish and have purchased from here several times. I can honestly say everything is authentic except the black pudding which is more Irish style. Its very good though. Fully recommend Scot Gourmet.

The gold standard for black pudding as far as I'm concerned is the two inch round log with big chunks of pork fat incorporated. This is what we had in Whitley Bay when I was a kid. I've tried every American brand and this product is the closest I've come to what I believe is the real thing. We'll done,! Five stars
