Always on the lookout for flavors to delight your taste buds, we found this creamy soft brie-like cheese just outside of Inverness at an organic farm called Connage Highland Dairy. Ten years in business and they are winning awards left and right. No wonder as their cheeses are delicious.

Made from pasteurized cow's milk with no added cream, this smooth, silky texture will win you over. Best served at room temperature. 8.8 ounce round with a traditional edible white soft ripened surface - like a French brie, only better.

With flavor. the haggis tasted like i was backin scotland my friend purchased smoked fish for the cullen skink soup which turned out wonderful. It will certainly be my stop for our next celebration.

The Dunlop cheddar is my favorite. However, when I received it, there was a lot of mold on it. I’m not sure if that’s normal or not. I did inquire if this was normal of some of my Scottish friends. I was told that a little bit of mold might be normal, but not a lot. I did enjoy the cheese and will probably purchase it again.
The TV series Outlander inspired me to try the Scottish cheese.

My apologies, I sent a review for Clava cheese under the Dunlop cheddar. And the Dunlap chatter under the clava cheese.

Was a bit leary of this as it smelled strong but it was quite mild and delicious! Had it with some Reeper jam. Husband says honey next time!

Unfortunately, the brie was bad by the time it was shipped to us the packaging that was to keep it cool head melted completely, and the cheese smelled really bad. But everything else we ordered was great.

I'm sorry to say this experience has not been good. The round of Brie that was shipped was bad. The whole package smelled bad before I opened it. Once I did the odor was so offensive, I knew there was a problem. When I examined the round's actual packaging, it noticed that the expiration date was January 2023 an of course I received it the second last week in October, a few weeks back. I called the Toll-Free number and spoke to a women there who assured me a new round would be sent immediately, which it was. I just hope that when this problem was realized that all the Brie rounds in the freezer there were checked for outdated products. WAY outdated I might add. The new Brie round also has a strong ordor but I'm excusing that as being typical of Scottish Brie and now what I've bought before here in the USA. I also will say that prior to this the many orders I have come from Scottish Gormet USA have always been fine.

This cheese was not the creamy, mild texture and taste that I was hoping for. Instead, it was moderately strong, rubbery, and had a bit of a bite. As no one wanted to eat it, I ended up throwing almost all of it out. It would be a good cheese for those with heartier tastes.
