Customers praised this traditional steamed pudding as "really very tasty" with dried fruits. Most found it enjoyable but noted it's "very sweet" and dense, recommending pairing with whipped cream, rum butter, or hard sauce. Some felt the spice aroma could be stronger. The product pairs well with accompaniments but sauce isn't included.
We liked it - but it is very much for English taste buds - meaning very sweet. It needs whipped cream to make it a bit less dense. Much better than other English puddings that I have had.
Really very tasty
Okay taste but missing smell of mixed spice
As a kid my grandmother would make what she called suet pudding - a steamed cake with raisins. While this was made with something called vegetable suet, and had a few more dried fruits, it was a good easy substitute for Grandma's. Very tasty. My only disappointment was that it was pictured with a sauce, which was not included. So I made my grandma's hard sauce to go with it and it was outstanding!!

Great product! You definitely want something like rum butter to go with it
