Mother Mae's Gluten Free Shortbread Mix

Mother Mae never knew about gluten free - but we know you want shortbread even if you have a gluten intolerance. So after many batches of something that looked like shortbread but wasn't great, we finally found the right balance for you. It's our own blend of rice flour, potato starch, tapioca flour, vanilla infused sugar, xanthan gum and a touch of salt. All you add is two sticks of butter and some water, how easy is that! Mother Mae's picture graces each 16 ounce box of Gluten Free Shortbread Mix and each bag will fill two of our Shortbread pans with buttery, mouthwatering shortbread.
Of course you can use any pan, a round cake pan to make wedges, or a simple square or rectangular pan to cut traditional fingers, but we love the fancy designs made by our shortbread pans. Exclusively at Scottish Gourmet USA.
