A bright clean tea with a soft golden color is the Highland Blend tea. Still a blend of black tea, but selected for a smooth lighter taste. Perfect for the afternoon or for iced tea as this blend doesn't get cloudy like some black tea blends. Brew the perfect pot of tea with the loose tea leaves in this 4.4 oz tin caddy. From Edinburgh Tea & Coffee, of course. This loose tea is fine cut for robust flavor. For the best cuppa, we recommend using a fine mesh or laser cut tea strainer.

In the past, I've like this tea inside tea bags. What really surprised me this time around is the shape of the loose tea. It really reminds me of espresso grounds. Not very appealing. Even some of my Tently loose leaf tea looks like that. I'm used to visible tea leaves after soaking them. It throws me off a lot, very off putting.

This tea was very unique compared to the other loose leaf teas I've had in my life. Normally I let the tea sit in the pot or the diffuser for far longer than recommended because I like strong teas, but this stuff was high quality and very strong at the recommended steeping time. It was enjoyable plain (I don't drink milk). The cherry on top is the super cute and sturdy tea tin that it comes in. This would make an excellent gift for someone or for yourself!
