Miniature Mince Pies - nine one inch flaky pastry covered mincemeat pies to enjoy. In Scotland, this is an after dinner treat on Christmas Day. Walkers of Aberlour uses a classic mincemeat recipe with apples, currants, sultanas, spices, candied citrus peels, sugar - and the flaky pastry crust made from wheat flour, vegetable oil, sugar, salt and a touch of powdered skim milk. Your guests will snap these up whenever you serve them, at tea, for Thanksgiving, Christmas or Hogmanay. Reheat in the oven at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or remove them from their mini tart pans to microwave for 15-20 seconds. 9.3 oz. box holds nine tarts.

The Walkers story begins over a hundred and twenty-five years ago in 1898, when the twenty-one year-old Joseph Walker opened the doors of his own bakery with a small loan and the dream of making the finest shortbread in the world. These are delightful treats in every respect: mince filling is pure, not too sweet, and nice texture; crust is just right, doesn't overpower the filling. Perfect ratio, and flavor. My guests love these, too.

Delicious! Some of the BEST mince pies we’ve ever tasted. Glad we ordered more than one package. The mince filling is a burst of flavor, a touch of spice, nuts, sweetness. The crust is a tasty shortbread with a dusting of sugar on top. Excellent little mince pies!
