What a terrific book! After leafing through this book, I think I will attempt almost every recipe! Well, maybe not Hare Pie but, most of the rest!

My wife recently purchased the 'Outlander Kitchen' by Therasa Carle-Sanders and it's quickly become our new favorite cookbook. We have enjoyed several of the recipes so far, including Brianna's Bridies and the Potato Fritters among others. There are too many recipes on our 'try next' list to mention. The cookbook is nicely organized with both a Contents and a Recipe Index making it practical for daily use. Recipes include beautiful photos of the process and/or the final dish as well as quotes from the books. The ingredients are simple and the instructions are concise. The 'Outlander Kitchen' does a commendable job of bringing the writing of Diana Gabaldon together with delicious home cooked meals.
