Lightly cured using a family recipe and then expertly cold smoked in the traditional style over smoldering whisky cask chips, this is the only Scottish smoked salmon to carry a Royal Warrant from the King Charles. Thinly sliced half side in vacuum package weighs 17.6 ounces. Ready to enjoy. All our smoked salmon is cured, then smoked and shipped in an airtight pouch. It can be refrozen upon delivery without affecting flavor or texture as the fish is 'cooked' with a very low moisture content. Fish is hand-selected farm raised salmon from Scottish waters, then smoked in Scotland. We fly in smoked salmon and other smoked fish once a month.

The John Ross Scottish smoked salmon has always been one of my favorites! This one is no exception. Perfect flavor and texture. While I enjoy it on a bagel with some cream cheese, it's also very good mixed in with some scrambled duck eggs!!
