This tea has a great flavor but was very disappointed in the texture of the tea. It was basically a fine dust. I am lucky enough to have a very fine screened tea pot but could not use in my tea leave ball or other pots.

I am so impressed with the flavor of this tea. It doesn't have the harsh, acidy-taste that breakfast teas sometimes have. It's mellow and smooth and wonderful. It's very finely ground, so you'll need a good strainer.

I start every day with two cups, and ever since my sister-in-law brought me a Scottish Tea Sampler from her trip to Scotland, I've been hooked on this breakfast tea. I've not found its equal: strong, complex & flavorful yet never bitter (assuming you brew it right & use the right amount of milk & sugar). I've quit buying other teas (even Earl Grey, my standby for years) & don't dare run out of this stuff!

I had refilled with another brand since it was not available in the US at the time. Thanks to Scottish Gourmet USA, I can now have the original and it's still the best!

The photo for this product, showing canisters of three different teas, is confusing. What's being sold here is a single canister of Scottish Breakfast Tea. I also don't know what the heck that other review is. I first bought this tea when visiting my daughter in Scotland. I asked her to bring me more when she came home. This is the first tea I can remember that makes me just sit and savor it until it's gone. Too bad it's so expensive here, but I can't find any other place to buy it and it's still worth it. You could always ask for it as a present. Also, if you order multiples, it cuts down the shipping cost.
