I've always loved shortbread. This is the most delicious shortbread I've ever tasted. I love to let it sit in my mouth so I can really savor it's buttery flavor. I highly recommend this brand. A Scottish American friend of mine recommended I try the Edinburgh brand of shortbreads. I bought the Clotted Cream, the classic and the chocolate chip. I never bothered to read the ingredient. I have been a diehard Walker Shortbread ONLY consumer for over 50 years.When I read that ALL the HOUSE OF EDINBURGH types had GROUND RICE I was shocked. I did not like the texture or taste of any of them. I gave them all away to people who don't know much about the taste of a pure Scottish Shortbread.I am back to WALKER SHORTBREADS WHICH ARE MADE OF FLOUR, BUTTER & SALT. Their other types the chocolate chip, salted carmel etc NEVER HAVE GROUND RICE AS AN INGREDIENT. I have happily returned to WALKER and will never waver again
