NEW SIZE - 12 ounces. Finnan Haddie (smoked haddock), perfect for cullen skink, fish pies, or other traditional recipes. Poach a piece and serve with eggs. This haddock is versatile and tasty. Harvested from sustainable wild fisheries in the North Atlantic, this haddock is then smoked in Maine. No sugars, colors or preservatives added, just haddock, sea salt and smoke. This vacuum-sealed fish should be cooked before serving. (These fillets are thicker than the finnan haddie we import from Scotland, because of the age and size of the fish.)

I used this make some Cullen Skink after receiving this. It turned out better than I had hoped. Could really taste the smoked haddock, and that made all the difference in the world. Will have to buy this again when I want to make more Cullen Skink.
