Celebrate Christmas with this traditional Scottish dessert - this moist cake is loaded with fruit then topped with apricot preserves, a thick layer of creamy almond marzipan and finally topped with a sugary icing. A small slice will satisfy the most demanding sweet tooth! Baked for us by Walkers of Aberlour - and Jim Walker himself suggested we offer it this Christmas. 17.6 oz. slab cake for you to slice and serve.

The Walkers story begins over a hundred and twenty-five years ago in 1898, when the twenty-one year-old Joseph Walker opened the doors of his own bakery with a small loan and the dream of making the finest shortbread in the world. This non-traditional option is moist and delicious. Customers said it's "excellent" and a "favorite," even winning over those who typically don't enjoy this dessert type. Guests enjoyed it at gatherings. However, one customer found the taste missed the mark despite loving traditional versions.
