Whisky Smoked Sea Salt Box

Sea salt flakes are smoked gently over aged oak whisky barrels - the color is a toasted brown. 2.8 ounces packed in a recyclable box. Enjoy on fish, steak and burgers. American oak is first made into barrels for aging bourbon, then sent to Scotland to add flavor and color to Scotch whisky. When the barrels are 'spent' and no longer impart that extra color and flavor, they are dismantled and sold for smokers. Hawkhead Whisky Smoked sea salt flakes get their color and flavor from burning these whisky soaked barrel staves.
